Edward Canfor-Dumas, Director

Edward took the lead role in founding the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues in 2006 and has developed extensive relationships with the peace-building and conflict management sector, Parliamentarians, government, business and the media.

Drawing on these links and in consultation with them, Edward designed and delivers Engi's acclaimed 'Managing Conflict Positively' course.

Edward will be co-leading the MCDC 'Understand to Prevent' initiative 2015-16 and is a member of the UK Chief of Defence Staff's Strategy Forum.

A graduate of New College, Oxford, Edward has also authored three best-selling books on Buddhism and written numerous scripts for television. His award-winning credits include the worldwide BBC hits Pompeii: The Last Day (nominated for two BAFTAs) and Supervolcano
